Jetshop and Storm Commerce merge to form the largest Nordic SaaS company in digital commerce

Jetshop and Storm Commerce, two of the Nordic region’s leading providers of e-commerce platforms, are merging to form the largest Nordic SaaS company in digital commerce. A joint customer offering is now being created that meets tomorrow’s demand for API-first and True SaaS.

This merger will make Jetshop and Storm Commerce the largest Nordic SaaS company in digital commerce, with more than 100 employees, annual recurring revenues in excess of SEK 100 million, and a geographical presence in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo.

“By far the biggest winners will be our customers, who will now benefit from an even more bespoke joint offering and a significantly higher rate of development. Storm Commerce shares our belief that SaaS, Headless and API-first are crucial factors when it comes to creating the commerce solutions of the future. Together, we become the preferred choice for customers seeking security and growth based on cutting-edge technology,” says Fredrik Hedblom, CEO of Jetshop.

“We are both pioneers in digital commerce who have had a clear partner strategy as part of our success journeys. Our common ambition is to continue to develop the most partner-friendly offering on the market. Jetshop is the ideal collaborator in this situation, enabling us to create scalable e-commerce solutions that meet the demands made by future e-commerce retailers and consumers of a modern e-commerce and buying experience,” says Niclas Heurlin, CEO of Storm Commerce.

The merger will accelerate further development, with True SaaS and API-first being specific success factors for profitable digital commerce. By combining the companies’ strengths, the goal is to increase the growth rate and thus deliver a higher value to customers, employees and shareholders. The complementary offering includes B2C, B2B and D2C, and clear expansion plans beyond the domestic market are part of the shared journey ahead.

Jetshop and Storm Commerce will initially operate under existing company names on their journey towards a common brand.
